Hotel managers do not need another vanity dashboard.

They need to know what is happening right now, what is stuck, and what keeps happening again. Guest request data becomes useful when it supports shift decisions and service recovery.

Start with active work

The first dashboard view answers direct operational questions: which requests are open, which are overdue, who was notified, and whether staff acknowledged the request.

That view matters more than a large analytics suite in V1 because unresolved guest work is where service risk lives.

Preserve context

Managers also need the source story. Was the request created by the AI from a call, entered manually by the front desk, or escalated by staff? Was a room number trusted from the phone system or provided by the guest?

Context helps managers coach process, not just chase individual mistakes.

Build toward patterns

Once requests are captured consistently, hotels can see patterns: repeated AC issues, high housekeeping demand by time of day, categories with slow acknowledgement, and routes that frequently fail.

That is the long-term value of AI guest operations: better service today, better operating intelligence over time.
